The Story Behind the Name
The name Lotus & Silk was born in Thailand, during a quiet conversation that stayed with us. While traveling together, we once met locals who spoke to us about balance, how true beauty, like inner calm, comes from simplicity rather than excess. They pointed to a lotus growing nearby, rising clean and untouched from the water, and spoke of softness as strength, not weakness. The lotus came to represent purity, renewal, and intention. Silk became its natural counterpart, soft, refined, and gentle to the touch. Together, they embodied exactly what we believed skincare should be: thoughtful, balanced, and quietly powerful.
